Fearnet.com Ad
Wasn't sure whether to put this on my personal blog or this one... meh I'll put it here. ^^
This just cracks me up because... well the girl reminds me of me. XD She's HAPPY to see zombies stalking across her lawn: "My friends!!! :-DDDDD" Probably invited them over to play Animal Crossing... ^_^
Regrettably the website advertised doesn't seem to be working. :/ But I still love this ad!
"The world doesn't understand... but we do!"
Tell me about it. <3
EDIT: Wait... is this a website? A TV station? I don't get it... what exactly is FearNet? O.o

Awesome tumblr! (TRIGGER WARNING)
http://please-wakeup.tumblr.com/
I know, I know, it's kind of silly to advertise other blogs but... what can I say, this tumblr deserves advertisement! :-DDDD
If you like scary stuff, especially horror movies, this tumblr is for you!!! Personally I feel like this is my dream tumblr come to life. <3 <3 <3
But serious TRIGGER WARNING here--yes, all caps, I want my readers to stay safe. This tumblr contains freaky moving gifs, and of course scary and disturbing images, etc... so if you have epilepsy, a heart condition, or could in any way be affected by these things, please DON'T click the link. In fact their latest post is a series of large scary gifs; it's right there in your face when you click their link. So, like I said, if that stuff affects you negatively, and especially if you have a medical condition, please think twice before clicking the link.
Other than that: enjoy!

The Gow Row
This is the story of a strange creature said to have lived in Arkansas.
The story begins around the turn of the century, the late 1800s, when the owner of the land went spelunking in Devil's Hole. During his adventure, however, he heard a ferocious hissing noise from within the darkness, and that's when he decided he'd better skedaddle on home.
Later, he and his friends decided to investigate this. They tied a flatiron to some rope and lowered it into the cave. They heard another hissing sound, and the rope was pulled taut. When they pulled it back up, the flatiron was badly bent and scratched, as if it had been mauled by a wild animal. The next experiment involved a stone tied to the rope. Once again, the rope was pulled tight, but when they pulled it back up it had been cleanly sliced, and the rock was gone.
The Gow Row is not limited to the Devil's Hole Cave, however. The Arkansas Gazette tells us more about the creature, and how its name comes from the noises it makes as it wanders around and night slaughtering livestock. It only stopped once a band of monster hunters destroyed the beast. It was a terrible battle that left several trees fallen and even took one man's leg.
The creature is said to have been twenty feet long, with tusks and a row of horns on its back. It had webbed, clawed feet and a long tail with a blade on the end.
The Gow Row may be no more, but I think we can all congratulate Arkansas on having one hell of a monster!

Sailing Stones Explained?
(First post after a loooong absence, sorry)
http://www.opposingviews.com/i/society/researchers-solve-mystery-wandering-stones-death-valley-video
I've said it before: this blog will include things that are not just scary, but also strange and unexplained. And here's one of them--though this particular phenomenon finally has a logical explaination.
You may have heard of the mysterious "sailing stones" of Death Valley in the lower-Western United States. These involve nicely sized boulders simply moving across the desert on their own, leaving tracks in the sand behind them. It would appear that ice melting around and under the rocks (I know--ice in a desert? But remember that deserts get much colder at night) causes them to slide very slowly. The fact that the rocks are just sliding around on ice explains the randomness of their movements.
I've heard this "ice theory" before, and now it's finally been proven. Read the above article for more!
